BEYRoots Street Food are coming to Library Square on 24th March to share their tasty and authentic, Lebanese wraps and salad boxes with the students and staff of Sussex University.
Tariq Khaldi decided to start the popular London pop-up in 2016 after his father passed away. It had always been his dad’s dream to serve real Lebanese food to the streets of London and Tariq wanted to make that dream a reality.
BEYRoots pride themselves on being true to Tariq’s heritage, boasting that their food is just like the wraps he enjoyed on the streets of Beirut during his countless trips to Lebanon as a child.
Street food has been part of Lebanese cuisine for thousands of years and has always been healthy, tasty and seen as part of everyday life for everyone, rather than a luxury. Whether you need a healthy meal in a hurry or you are just looking for something tasty at any time of the day, it is hard to beat Lebanese street food.
Everything from the hummus to the marinades are freshly prepared by the team themselves using raw ingredients.
“No Fusion Rubbish, No Artisan Crap and No False Pretences. JUST REAL LEBANESE FOOD” – Tariq Khaldi (Founder)
