Sussex 6th in 'Which?' poll for 'top political universities'

The consumer's association Which? has placed Sussex 6th in their poll for 'top political universities'.  They say that:

  • The university newspaper, The Badger, is a platform for students to comment on current affairs and participate in political debates
  • The union has a number of social action groups such as Hear Afrika, Amnesty International and the Environmental Society

Global Studies is one of the most politically active schools at Sussex – our students have gone on to become presidents and sabbatical officers of the Student's Union, as well as politicians, policy advisors and decision-makers around the world.  We also cover all shades of the political spectrum, with graduates including everything from anarchists to a Tory MP.  All of the social action groups mentioned by Which? are strongly rooted in Global Studies.  Why not join us to get involved?
