Networking:

Enterprise Thursdays are fun and informal, so you will naturally chat to people you haven’t met before. Before you know it, you’ll be working the room and have networking down to a tee! We have heard great stories of connections made at the events where students have found mentors, or new recruits for a new idea or student society. 
 

Problem Solving:

By hearing other’s entrepreneurial journey and the way in which  they have broken down barriers, you will learn how you can do the same for yourself.
 

Tips on Public Speaking:

None of our speakers are professional public speakers, but always manage to pull off a fantastic presentation. Come and find out how they deal with the pressure and pick up tips of your own!
 

Communication:

Mixing with the diverse range of Enterprise Thursday’s participants will give you excellent communication skills, and provide a great opportunity to mix with business people, social entrepreneurs, staff, students, alumni, and other inspiring people.
 

Broadening Learning Experience:

Our speakers are opportunity spotters from a huge range of backgrounds, and have found their niche in many different ways. Hearing the very practical ways they’ve got things done will give you many hints, tips and ideas of your own. Come along and drink up this wealth of experience!  
 

Investigating/Questioning Skills:

How do you get to the nitty gritty? What research is important? Knowing where to look, what to ask, and how to ask it is a skill in itself. Come and practice on our lovely speakers, who are always willing to answer questions and share their knowledge.
