I hold a PhD in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Sheffield, an MA in Historical Language Studies, and a BA in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Rzeszów. I also hold a BSc in Management and Marketing and a MSc in Finance Management from Rzeszów University of Technology.
Prior to joining the University of Sussex in 2011, I worked at the University of Leeds, University of Sheffield, and Sheffield Hallam University. I was also involved in teaching at the A-Level and EFL teaching.
Since 2013 I have been an Associate Editor of English Today (Cambridge University Press). Between 2006–2009 I was an Editorial Assistant for Cognitive Linguistics (de Gruter Mouton).
