The draft retake examination timetable is now available in students' Sussex Direct study timetables.
All candidates with retakes should check the draft examination timetable and report any clashes between the examinations they are due to take to the Student Progress and Assessment Office by 12noon on Wednesday 7 August.
All requirements that can be taken into account (arising from either disability or religion) that have been notified to the Student Progress and Assessment Office have already been taken into account in the draft timetable; the draft timetable will now be amended only to remove examination clashes.
While the timetable is in draft form and until the final schedule is published, students with one or more retakes should continue to make themselves available for a retake at any time between Monday 26 August and Friday 6 September.
The final version of the retake examination timetable will be published by 6pm on Friday 9 August and will not be amended after that.
Examinations are scheduled on weekdays, Saturdays and bank holidays (including some early evenings) in the period Monday 26 August to Friday 6 September.
As far as possible the timing of examinations has been restricted to mornings and afternoons on weekdays, however the constraints of the examination period and combinations of modules dictated by the curriculum require some examinations to be held outside those times.
All examinations will take place on campus at the Sport Centre, Mandela Hall and Mandela Balcony. Any candidates with special needs will be informed via their Sussex email account of the venue for their examinations.
Some exams will be held in more than one room; from Friday 9 August (or earlier if possible) the actual room for each candidate will be shown on the individual timetable in Sussex Direct.
