Share your views in the Student Barometer and you could win a £500 voucher

First-year student Gregory Nicolas

The 2019 Student Barometer is live at Sussex. As a thank you, students who take part in the survey have the opportunity to win one of five £500 vouchers to spend on travel (STA Travel), tech (Currys PC World) or food (Sainsbury’s).

The first prize draw winner has been randomly selected. Grégory Nicolas, a first-year studying Physics with Astrophysics, chose a Currys PC World voucher as his prize.

In response to the news, Greg said: “I took part in the Student Barometer in the hopes that some improvements could be made to the university. I shall be using the voucher in order to purchase a laptop to help with my studies.”

This survey is one way to let the University know how you are finding your time at Sussex, so that we can better understand what’s working and make improvements for you and future students. It should take only 15 minutes to complete and it’s open until 8 December.

All undergraduates (with the exception of finalists) and postgraduates are being asked to take part. If you’re a final-year undergraduate, you will be invited to complete the National Student Survey (NSS) in early 2020 instead.

You can access the Student Barometer via this link or via an email from i-graduate, the independent research agency conducting the survey.

The sooner you fill it in, the more chance you have of winning a prize, as we will be announcing a winner each week and you will remain eligible to win throughout the survey period.

All responses are confidential and anonymous and will be used for research purposes only.
