Progression Review & Mid-Year Survey timetable

A timetable for postgraduate research students

The timetable below will help you determine the timings of your mid-year survey (for first year students only) and your progression reviews for your first two years. By your third year you will be following the 'normal' pattern of undertaking the annual review every July.

Pick a column by which month you started in and follow it down to see the months in which your mid-year survey and progression review should take place in. The purpose of the mid-year survey is just to gather some feedback from you to make sure you are progressing well.  This will allow us to instigate any remedial actions that might be needed before your progression review.

You may receive reminders by e-mail. but it is a good idea to start planning and discussing your progression review with your supervisor well before the event.
