A number of situations may occur where you need to change the way you are studying.  Full information about the key stages and processes that occur throughout a research degree can be found here: http://www.sussex.ac.uk/rsao/researchdegree

After you have dicussed this with your supervisor you can make a request to the School by filling out a form found here: http://www.sussex.ac.uk/rsao/forms
