The University of Sussex, TFMRC (Thermo-Fluid Mechanics Research Centre) and SPRU (Science and Technology Policy Research) have together created DS4CC group who's core aim is to bring people together to debate Design Solutions for Climate Change issues. We have run two events so far which have opened up some very interesting discussions about this topic and all the related notes and presentations for these two events can be found on our 'Documents' page. Please feel free to browse and if you are interested in being a part of future discussions please register your interest with us. You can email Prof Naser Sayma a.sayma@sussex.ac.uk

Inconsistent climate change mitigation by industrialised nations; scientific evidence suggesting earlier and more acute effects; warnings of severe impacts on and by developing countries; factors such as these have widened the debate from 'mitigation' towards 'adaptation' and 'geo-engineering' as alternative and complementary responses to climate change.
