Career Guidance for Research staff

One-to-one short interviews

15 minutes with a professionally qualified careers advisor; during University term time every weekday from 10 am. This service is also available during holidays (see website for details).

Consultations of up to one hour are available on request – please email Jane Riley j.f.riley@sussex.ac.uk

Self-appraisal

If you are interested in finding out more about yourself you may want to use one of our personality tests which are available to Sussex staff and students. The Careers and Employability Centre has a licence to use a web-based assessment tool – 'Profiling for success'. Feedback is emailed to you almost immediately and is full and detailed. (But do not use a Hotmail account as this will not work). Find the link at www.sussex.ac.uk/careers/careerchoices/interests
