Last May a whopping 258 doctoral researchers and research staff came together for the Doctoral School's Summer BBQ
This year, the BBQ will be taking place at East Slope Bar and all researchers who register in advance will receive vouchers for food from the barbeque and for one drink up to the value of £3.50.
We'll also be providing the opportunity to find out more about applying to be one of next year's Research Hive Scholars!
The Menu:
- Quarter Pounder Beef OR Veggie Burger, relish, tomato, gherkin & lettuce in a soft seeded bun
- BBQ Chicken Drumsticks
- Marinated Mixed Vegetable Skewers
- New Potato Salad
- Moroccan Couscous Salad
We've put this menu together with the intention of providing something for everyone, but if you have any specific dietary requirements please let us know.
DRINKS VOUCHER OFFERS!
For the event, East Slope Bar will be running the following drinks voucher offers, where you can get together with your fellow researchers and pool your vouchers for more!
2 vouchers = 1x Jug of Pimms OR 1x Cocktail Pitcher of Sex on the Beach
3 vouchers = 1x Pitcher of Kronenburg/Grolsch/Symonds or Saxon
THE BBQ IS NOW FULLY BOOKED!
We are now operating a reserve list for the BBQ. Cancelled bookings will be offered to the reserve list on a first-come first-served basis. To be added to the reserve list, please e-mail your request, along with your FULL NAME and DEPARTMENT to researcher-development@sussex.ac.uk.
