Research Council Policy Internships Scheme
Research Councils UK (RCUK) have announced that their Research Council Policy Internships Scheme is now open for applications.
The scheme provides the opportunity for Research Council funded doctoral researchers to work for three months in one of a selected group of highly influential policy organisations, on one or more policy topics relevant to both the doctoral researcher and the hosting organisation.

Important information for ESRC funded doctoral researchers at Sussex
ESRC funded doctoral researchers are eligible to apply for an internship of three months in one of a selected group of highly influential policy organisations. The full details of the project opportunities are available on the ESRC website.
Successful applicants will be given an extension of their ESRC awards for 3 months, and will also be able to apply for additional expenses incurred (e.g. a season ticket to London or reasonable accommodation costs where it is not possible to commute).
*DEADLINE: If you are an ESRC funded doctoral researcher wishing to apply for one of these internships you must first e-mail your application form to esrcdtc@sussex.ac.uk by Monday 22nd August 2016.
