What's happening in the Hive?

The Sussex Research Hive is the Library's designated areas for researchers. Three Research Hive Scholars support the area, engaging with Sussex researchers to find out what you want from your community, and planning initiatives in response.

Research Hive blog competition winner announced

Congratulations to Simon F. Davies (School of English) who won a £50 voucher for his blog post 'Academic journals: tips for the submission process'.

The Research Hive blog competition took place in the Autumn Term and the lucky winner was announced at the Doctoral School and Research Hive festive event on Thursday 11th December.

Other submissions for the competition included:

'On being a PhD student and a new parent' - Maria Kirk (School of English)

'Zen and the art of doctoral research' - Diarmuid Hester (School of English)

'Navigating the amazingly chatty world of scholarship' - Zoe Strimpel (School of History)

'The Art of not procrastinating' - Nicole Mennell (School of English)

Whilst there is no blog competition running in the Spring Term, if you'd like to submit a post for publication in the Research Hive blog, the Hive Scholars would love to hear from you! E: researchhive@sussex.ac.uk
