Doctoral Training in the Sussex ESRC DTC is organised into six interdisciplinary pathways, each of which corresponds to one of Sussex’s academic Schools of Studies, and caters for doctoral researchers from each of its constituent Departments and Interdisciplinary Programmes. The pathways, Schools and Programmes are outlined diagrammatically below. The pathways are designed to dovetail with both the University’s Research Themes and the ESRC’s Strategic Challenges in ways that maximise the expertise of Sussex researchers and supervisors to enable doctoral researchers in the DTC to find answers to the world’s problems.
