Anthony Costello, paediatrician, scientist, and former director of Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health at WHO, has a new weekly blog and podcast series on global health and development.

He writes, "I cover what’s happening in global health, the science of human groups and behaviour, and in sustainable development and climate change. Usually once a week. I’ve written 350 scientific papers which have featured or been quoted in the New York Times, the Guardian, BBC, Huffington Post, the Lancet and Financial Times."  His book “The Social Edge: the power of sympathy groups for our health, wealth and a sustainable future” will be published in September 2018.
