Recruitment Agencies

Recruitment Agencies are a useful resource to consider when job hunting. There are a growing number of agencies to research, including those with multiple offices as well as smaller independents.

Many agencies will help to place candidates into a broad range of professions. There are also a growing number who specialise, for example PR or technical agencies. Larger employers will also often enlist the service of an agency to process their recruitment campaigns.

We are contacted by a number of agencies who wish to publicise their services to students and graduates. We have provided a listing* which gives you a brief introduction to the types of work available, and have also highlighted those agencies which have a base in Sussex.

If you have any questions about your employment rights as an agency worker (for example, minimum wage or working time limits) you can contact the Pay and Work Rights Helpline on 0800 917 2368.

* This list is not exhaustive and further information may be available from other sources. The Careers and Employability Centre does not endorse or recommend those listed and bears no responsibility for the outcome from contact with any of all of the organizations. Information is correct at time of publication; We do not take responsibility for any changes.
