The course will cover the fundamentals of assembling and using the total station, and then using the data download from it to present a map or plan. Such knowledge will enable students to become assets to their site directors. The course is designed to give the student the maximum amount of practical 'hands on' experience, together with the theoretical knowledge to become a competent archaeological surveyor with a total station.
