Inclusive Archaeology and Cultural Heritage: Volunteering Opportunities for Senior Citizens and the Final season at Barcombe Roman baths
In the summer of 2012 a Grundtvig/Ecorys funded Senior Volunteers Project involved the exchange of six volunteers each from both the Centre for Community Engagement at the University of Sussex and Heritage Mata. In both cases the volunteers undertook work on the site of a Roman bath-house. A PowerPoint presentation, covering both sites, was put together by the English participants and can be viewed below. The presentation also documents the final season of CCE excavations at the Barcombe Roman baths.
