China Internship Programme for 2nd years

The 2020 programme will open for applications in November. All eligible students will receive an email invite to our launch events and further details on how to apply.

Eligible second-year undergraduates can apply to spend 4 weeks in mainland China over the summer, undertaking work experience while finding out more about the unique culture of the country. The programme is fully funded by the University of Sussex and is part of the British Council Generation UK initiative.

Working with partners in China, the programme is delivered in various host cities (in 2019, these were Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Zhuhai) and includes an introduction to Chinese culture, language lessons, and an internship with a host organisation. Internships are available in a wide range of industries including business, engineering, finance & accounting, healthcare & pharmaceutical, information & technology, legal and NGOs.

Details about the 2020 China Internship Programme will appear here soon and all eligible students will be emailed.
