When will applications open and close?

Applications will open in March (along with other UK summer internships) and deadlines will be set individually. Some Schools may decide to close applications early so we strongly advise early applications.

When will the internship start and end?

All internships will start during the summer vacation period and last for 8 weeks. You will also need to work at least one day over the Welcome Weekend (Saturday 21 - Sunday 22 September 2019) for which you will be paid, even if you have finished your 8-week internship.

I'm already completing a First-Generation Scholars Scheme funded internship. Can I apply for this as well?

No. Once you have committed to an opportunity funded through the First-Generation Scholars Scheme in your second year, you are unable to apply for any others.

How do I apply?

You will be asked to submit a CV and covering letter to apply for this opportunity. You can book an appointment with a Careers Consultant to have your application reviewed before submitting. You can also submit a question online if you are unable to attend a one-to-one appointment.
