Study Skills at Sussex


An introduction to the study skills resources - Study Success at Sussex (S3) to help you to prepare for your studies and offer you continuing support during your time here: Study Success at Sussex provides a starting point for:

  • Managing your time at university
  • Improving your reading and research skills
  • Planning for your assessments (e.g. essays and reports)
  • Improving your academic writing skills
You'll also find out about academic support available at Sussex and how to access specific support such as sessions for students for whom English is a second or additional language (follow this link for more information) - www.sussex.ac.uk/languages/english/acadev. Run by Clare Hardman, Student Experience Project Coordinator.

NB. If you are a Postgraduate Taught Student (PGT) you may find it more helpful to come to the specific PGT sessions on Thursday 20th or Friday 21st September.
