Over 250 messages, memories and memorials have already been laid in our new Paving the Way pathway from Library Square to Arts A, raising £50,000 towards alleviating student hardship.
Brick of the month

‘The crèche and the nursery were excellent and both the children and I made friends with so many people, both staff and students and their children alike.
My girls feel like they are Sussex alumni and are very proud of their connection to Sussex. We often talk about their time at Sussex and they come back to visit the crèche and nursery to see the staff and where they used to play.
I wanted to surprise my daughters by bringing them onto campus then to point out the brick with their names on and to see their faces. I also wanted to contribute to a campaign which will help students at Sussex in the future. In my role, organising the graduation ceremonies each year, I see first-hand the sense of achievement and pride felt by students and their families, and I wanted to play my part in helping as many people as possible to enjoy that experience.’
