On the first/main entry door is a mosaic representing Le Précurseur [John the Baptist]. The portico is formed of four arches, the vault of which is decorated with mosaics representing all sorts of designs and beautiful figures. […]  The vault of the apse is decorated with a mosaic representing the Eternal Father. Everywhere is richly decorated, the floor as well.
