On the inside, the chapel is completely covered with mosaic work, paved with marble and very sumptuously fashioned.   Moreover, above the columns and up to the roof-beams the nave of the church is finished in the most beautiful and excellent mosaic work which displays pictures of the whole of history from the creation of the world up to the coming of the Lord in judgement.
