[…] in the cathedral, near the altar of the Santissimo Salvatore one may still admire a mosaic in which are depicted, in poses of devotion, on the right Leontius (Leontius II bishop of Gerace from c. 1124-1144) and on the left Roger (Roger II 1095-1154).  The former [is shown] with a gold mitre and cope, the other with a gold crown on his head, the royal sceptre in his hand and clothes covered with gold lilies.
