Brief descriptive contents of mosaic:

Mother-of pearl (MOP) rosettes alternate with fleur-de-lis designs of red and green. Diaper pattern of white tesserae outlined in black on a gold ground which merges in the middle into a central guilloche frame of green cubes and MOP, central stellar motif of inlaid MOP. The whole surrounded by narrow bands, wide gold ground borders with rosettes of green, white, black, a diamond border.  A band of geometric stellar interlace at summit.
