The Sussex Centre for Byzantine Cultural History is a continuation of the AHRC Centre for Byzantine Cultural History, which is a collaboration between the Queen's University of Belfast and the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. The Sussex Centre has just completed a project on the Composition of Byzantine Glass Mosaics. Previous projects include: the Madrid Skylitzes Project and the Byzantine Gender Project.
