Work and Study in Japan! - Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme and Daiwa Scholarships

The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme is an official Japanese Government initiative aimed at improving foreign language teaching in schools and promoting international understanding. There are 2 positions available: Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) and Coordinator for International Relations (CIR). All degree disciplines welcome. Must have UK citizenship.

The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation is a UK charity supporting UK-Japan links through awarding scholarships, offering grants to support UK-Japan collaboration and organising events including seminars. UK nationals (graduates, finalists and those finishing Master’s or PhD courses) of all fields are welcome to attend the talk.

Open to: All students, however, please be aware that this organisation may not consider applications from international students who require a visa to work in the UK after graduation.
