Your chance to join Sussex’s community choir

Enjoy singing with the Dhaba Square Choir over your lunch hour, for one hour once a fortnight.

All choir sessions take place in Arts B274, on Thursdays from 1pm-1.50pm. They are free of charge and physically accessible.

University of Sussex’s very own community choir is recruiting new members.

Come and enjoy singing with the Dhaba Square Choir over your lunch hour, for one hour once a fortnight.

Choir member Rachel O'Connell says: “We sing songs from around the world, in harmony together.

“We welcome anyone who loves to sing: students, academic faculty and Professional Services staff.

“There are no auditions, and no singing experience is necessary!”

The Dhaba Square Choir is led by Sophia Efthimiou, who runs several community choirs throughout the south-east.

After a taster session on 3 October, the autumn term choir sessions will take place on 10 and 24 October, 7 and 21 November, and 5 December.

There’s a drop-in format – you don’t need to have attended previous sessions.

All sessions take place in Arts B274, on Thursdays from 1pm-1.50pm. They are free of charge and physically accessible.
