Roads, access and other works

B&HAFC football fixture taking place today

A friendly football match between Brighton & Hove Albion FC and Valencia FC will be taking place today (Friday 2 August) at the Amex stadium. While the match does not start until 7pm, fans are expected to arrive for campus parking from 4.30pm, which may cause brief delays for University staff when leaving campus.

Estates Road closed until mid-August

The completion of works on Estates Road has been delayed to mid-August due to significant underground obstructions. Through access will be unavailable during this time; however, access to the Hastings building will be available via Science Car Park (P1) from next Monday 5 August.

Upcoming events

Free e-bike taster session

Brighton & Hove City Council are coming to the Amex stadium on Tuesday 6 August to allow local residents and members of the University to try out new e-bikes: motorised electric bicycles help you ride faster and easier, acting as an effective and environmentally friendly alternative to driving.

We'll be meeting at 11.55am at Falmer House square, where SEF Transport Manager James Brown will be available to walk you over to the event.

See the event listing on Broadcast for more information.
