Works on Science Car Park

When using Science car park (P1), please be aware of large vehicles now accessing the bank on the south side of the car park.

Roads, access and other works

Estates Road closed for duration of July

To facilitate the ongoing water upgrade project in the area, Estates Road will be closed from 1 July until the end of the month. Pedestrian access will be maintained, but no through access will be available for vehicles. The parking spaces in front of Hastings will also be closed intermittently.

Traffic management on Southern Ring Road

Traffic management will be in place for the duration of next week (Monday 8 to Friday 12 July) on the corner of Southern Ring Road, next to the Biology Road car park. This will facilitate drainage improvements in the area following issues with flooding on the road.

Roadworks on Stony Mere Way and University Way

The ongoing works on Stony Mere Way to facilitate the installation of our new generators have necessitated a single-lane closure with traffic management. You may experience brief delays when travelling to and from campus via this route. These works are expected to be completed by mid July.

Stanmer Park restoration works begin

Major restoration and construction works have begun in Stanmer Park. Although this will have little impact on the University, large vehicles may be accessing the park via Stony Mere Way.
