Roads, access and other works

Boiler House Hill weekend closure

Boiler House Hill will be closed entirely over the weekend of Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May to enable multiple works in the area. Traffic will be diverted via the Southern Ring Road, but please consider this closure if you are travelling to campus over this weekend.

Friston works by Science car park

Please be aware of large vehicles when using Science car park (P1). Works will be taking place between Friston and Hastings during May, with works vehicles accessing the area via the Science car park.

Roadworks on Stony Mere Way and University Way

Works are ongoing on the western roads leading into campus, to facilitate the installation of our new generators. This may impact traffic arriving onto campus, but will not necessitate any road closures.

M23 local closure at Gatwick

There will be a full carriageway closure on the M23 by Gatwick, lasting from 10pm on Friday 17 May, until midday on Sunday 19 May. There will be no exit northbound at J9. This will likely have little impact on the University, but please be aware of this closure if you are travelling from London during this weekend.
