Sussex joins the Great British Spring Clean

The University of Sussex is joining the Great British Spring Clean this year, organised across the UK by Keep Britain Tidy.

We have arranged for two clean-ups, one located on campus in our unique Sussex Downs environment, and one in a major student residential area in Brighton.

These are excellent opportunities to clean up our local area and do our part to keep our environment tidy, especially now we're deep into springtime. Sign up to one of our events via the links below!

Boundary Walk - Tuesday 9 April

Pavilion Road (leading up to the Falmer Sports Complex), 9.30am to 11.00am

We're aiming to tidy up our very own Boundary Walk, clearing it of all litter to preserve our unique natural environment. We will meet on Pavilion Road (leading up to the Falmer Sports Complex) at 9.30am, and work round the woodland path.

Sign up for the Boundary Walk event via Keep Britain Tidy.

The Avenue - Wednesday 17 April

The Avenue, Brighton BN2 4GG, 3.00pm to 4.30pm

As it is a major residential hub for Sussex students living in Brighton, we are aiming to clean up The Avenue of any and all litter to improve the environment for local residents, both students and members of the public alike.

Sign up for The Avenue event via Keep Britain Tidy
