See our Brexit hub for online information

As the date approaches (29 March) when the UK is due to leave the European Union, we are keen to ensure that all our staff and students have access to the latest practical information as and when it becomes available.

As such, we want to ensure everyone in our community is aware of where to find information via the University’s Brexit hub (www.sussex.ac.uk/brexit).

If you are a Sussex EU student and you have general enquiries about Brexit in relation to your studies, you can also contact International Student Support: email international.support@sussex.ac.uk, T (0)1273 678422. For questions about the Erasmus programme, contact the Study Abroad team.

If you’re a member of Sussex staff from the EU, you can see our help and advice online via the Brexit hub or, if you’d like to speak to someone in person, you can contact our Human Resources team: email human.resources@sussex.ac.uk, T (0)1273 877769.

It is possible for the planned leaving date of 29 March to be extended; this could happen if MPs reject the Prime Minister’s Brexit withdrawal agreement in a parliamentary vote that is expected to take place on Tuesday (12 March). MPs previously voted overwhelmingly on 15 January to reject the deal.

We will continue to update the Brexit hub as more information becomes available about how the UK’s departure from the European Union will affect the University of Sussex.

Our students and staff from EU countries are a valued part of the Sussex community, and it is a priority for us to ensure they can continue to work and study with us.
