Roads, access and other works

Path widening by BSMS

Works are ongoing on widening pedestrian pathways by the junction outside the Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) teaching building and parallel to Sussex House car park (P4). As a result, the Sussex House bus stop will be closed until Friday 22 February, and traffic lights will be in place until Wednesday 27 February.

Lane closure on Knights Gate Road

During this week, roadworks undertaken by BT have necessitated the closure of one lane on Knights Gate Road exiting campus, by Falmer village. These works will be complete by the end of today (Friday 15 February), after which point the lane will be reopened. We understand these works have caused delays upon exiting campus this week, and we will ensure that advance notice is given of any similar external works in the future.
