Exam resits to be a week earlier this year
The resit period for undergraduates who need to retake exams this summer will be a week earlier than previously.
Because of the changes to the structure of the academic year, the resit period has been brought forward to Monday 27 August until Friday 7 September. The date for submission of written work associated with sits/resits will be Thursday 23 August at 4pm.
First years and second years will find out if they need to do resits when the exam results become available on 17 and 18 July. Progression lists will be published in each school as normal and students’ results will be available on Sussex Direct.
Teaching starts again on Thursday 20 September – again, earlier than has previously been the case.
