Biomedical Image Analysis - the acquisition, analysis and interpretation of biomedical images acquired through magnetic resonance, computed tomography and microscopy (light, fluorescent, confocal, and multiphoton). Novel algorithms to analyse biomedical data sets such as the velocity of red blood cells or vascular disrupting processes. Analysis and interpretation of 3 dimensional data sets especially in relation to cartilage segmentation in MRI, measurement of vascular permeability from multiphoton datasets, and shape of neutrophils from confocal microscopes.
