Sussex marketing expert awarded Harry Kroto Fellowship

A marketing expert from the Sussex School of Business, Management and Economics (BMEc) is one of five academics from the University awarded a Harry Kroto Fellowship in recognition of their cutting-edge early career research. 

Lecturer in Marketing Dr Achilleas Boukis was awarded the Fellowship for his study Exploring the building blocks of the employee-based brand equity process for polarized brands. Achilleas is collaborating with academics from Lund University School of Economics and Management to research the building blocks of employee-based brand equity process for different types of brands. 

The annual scheme, named after former Sussex Professor and Nobel Prize Winner Sir Harry Kroto, was established by the University to consolidate sustainable collaborative research with international partner institutions. Recipients are provided with opportunities to establish their research trajectories and generate research income.
