Startup Sussex and the Social Impact Prize Launch

Tuesday 9 October 16:30 until 17:30
Careers & Employability Centre, Seminar Room inside the Library

StartUp Sussex is an annual competition for Sussex students and recent graduates (graduating up to 3 years ago) run by the Sussex Innovation Centre. This year there are more chances to win with the Social Impact Prize, for business ideas that make a positive social impact. Finalists and runners-up for both StartUp Sussex and the Social Impact Prize are awarded valuable start-up funding worth up to £10,000.

Whether you want to make a ground-breaking product, the next killer app, or you're eager to make a real difference through social enterprise, the competition is designed to help you develop entrepreneurial skills to see if you have more than just an idea. So, if you’ve identified a problem you want to solve, or are simply entrepreneurial and wish to learn valuable skills to running your own business, this is the programme for you. Students and graduates from all subject areas are welcome to apply.
