QAA Institutional Review Submission

The Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) will review the quality to the University's teaching and learning in March 2013 (18th to 22nd). In particular the review will check and make the following judgements about whether we:

  • set and maintain academic standards that meet agreed UK expectations
  • provide appropriate learning opportunities for students
  • are working to enhance the quality of the education we offer
  • produce accurate and reliable public information

The University Self-Evaluation Document (SED) and supporting evidence was submitted to the Agency on the 19th December 2012. The SED was drafted in consultation with University of Sussex Student Union (USSU) sabbatical officers, Directors of Teaching and Learning, other academic colleagues and professional service staff.
