Portfolio and Periodic Review for 2012
Over the past two terms the University has reviewed all the programmes and courses both undergraduate and postgraduate. These have been revised to simplify the credit structure into one of multiples of 15 credits, and to map courses onto the new academic year structure for 2012-13.
Teaching will take place over two 12 - week teaching periods in the Autumn and Spring Terms. For more information go to Structure of the Academic Year.
This new credit structure and academic framework provides greater flexibility in course delivery and more opportunities for students to take electives.
The new academic framework will apply from Autumn 2012 onwards. There will be no change to assessment regulations for the current round of assessments and resits.
