How to reference properly

The Library provides a good online tutorial on how to reference work properly.

The Philosophy Department has has produced a guide to references and bibliography using the MHRA system.

EndNote
The University has a site license for EndNote 7 - this is software that you can record your references on as you do work (either manually or by 'importing' them from a database). It also allows you to manage your reading notes and to generate bibliographies that can be formatted in a variety of styles. Further information about how to use EndNote can be found on the Library website. EndNote is available on University computers - whilst it can not be installed on non-University computers the software can be bought at a discount by students and staff from ITS. ITS also provide training on how to use EndNote.
