Salary range:  Starting at £19,802 and rising to £22,927 per annum.  It is normal to appoint at the first point of the salary scale.

The Research Student Administration Office is looking for two friendly, helpful and efficient new members of staff to join our core team of Research Student Co-ordinators, dealing with the admission, progress and assessment of postgraduate research students. Each of these rewarding posts will have responsibility for handling applications to postgraduate research degrees for a group of subjects, working closely with academic and professional services colleagues in Schools to monitor applications throughout the cycle and provide advice where necessary. The post holder will also be responsible for a specific group of tasks relating to the progress and examination of research degree students, including registration, annual review and graduation. 

The successful applicant will be patient, friendly, welcoming and possess excellent communication skills, be computer literate and be able to demonstrate close attention to detail. You will need to have office-based, administrative experience, ideally within higher education, a strong record of excellent ‘customer service’ and enjoy working with people from across the globe.
