Salary range: starting at £17,703 and rising to £19,828 per annum, pro rata

Description

An opportunity has arisen in the University Library for a part time Grade 3 Library Assistant. The successful applicant will work 18.25 hours per week, within core Library hours, 8.00am-6.00pm,  Monday to Friday.

Applicants should have good organisational, communication  and ICT skills, evidenced ability to prioritise and meet deadlines as well as evidenced strong analytical skills and attention to detail.  Experience of working in a team is also desirable. 

The successful candidate will initially be based in Cataloguing within the Content Delivery section of the Library, which also deals with the acquisition and processing  of printed, electronic and audio-visual material and has responsibility for processing reading lists, the provision of digitised course material and interlibrary loans.
