Description

The Student Systems and Records Office is seeking a full time Examinations Manager. The main purpose of the post will be to manage the Assessment Team and the unseen examinations arrangements on and off-campus, and to participate in projects and other University-wide events as appropriate.

The post involves preparing policies and procedures to secure the integrity of examination processes and systems in partnership with the Academic Development and Quality Enhancement Office.  The Manager is responsible for producing accurate examination timetables using EVENTMAP scheduling software to meet business needs and student expectations.  The post holder is also responsible for invigilator recruitment and training and management of the examination space, including co-ordinating contracts with third party providers who work with the University in this regard.

The successful candidate will provide a professional and efficient service to students and staff and work with senior professional services staff in Academic Registry, Student Services, and academic and administrative staff in Schools to ensure an efficient examinations service is delivered on time and to standard.
