Description

At Sussex we are recruiting a market research professional, to play a key role in the work of the Market research team and support the wider University Marketing team.  The role provides the opportunity to develop specialist research and analysis expertise from working with HE datasets. 

The post-holder will conduct desk research, surveys and focus groups, and support bi-annual research such as the Acceptors and Decliners survey, as well as portfolio development research. The post-holder will work with the Senior Market Researcher and the Market Research Officer to provide market insights including analysis of applications, enrolment and economic/educational trends in key markets. 

You will need a genuine interest in market research and marketing in higher education, coupled with excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Experience working with large and complex datasets and excellent IT skills are essential.
