Description
The Development and Alumni Relations Office at the University of Sussex is seeking a highly motivated team player to join its Alumni Relations and Events team.
This is an exciting time to join the team as the University moves forward from its 50th anniversary with a new alumni engagement strategy focused on building support for the University’s first ever fundraising campaign.
The team reports to the Head of Alumni Relations, Graduation and Events and currently comprises six members of staff. The person appointed will report to the Head of Alumni Relations, Graduation and Corporate Events and the work will include providing key administrative support to the Head for the organisation of the University graduation ceremonies. In addition, the post holder will provide support to the team, in particular helping at events.
An excellent administrator with a keen eye for detail, you will be personable, self-driven and have an eagerness to take on responsibility. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a desire to pursue a career in events.
