Salary range: starting at £30,424 and rising to £36,298 per annum. It is normal to appoint at the first point of the salary scale.

Description

Applications are invited for a post-doctoral research fellow with experience in experimental neurophysiology to work on an interdisciplinary project investigating the cellular, molecular and pharmacological basis of memory consolidation. The post will involve electrophysiology experiments using variety of intracellular recording techniques including dynamic clamp and novel methods for network recording using a multi-electrode array system. Experience in the analysis of complex data sets will be useful. The project will focus on the role of memory lapses that occur at the transitions between different phases of memory. The successful candidate will work as a part of a team that includes another post-doctoral fellow and a technician.
