Description
The University of Sussex is looking to hire additional faculty positions as part of a further phase of expansion in the Department of Business and Management, which is a key component of the School of Business, Management and Economics. The Department is engaged in researching and teaching the full range of business disciplines, working closely with the other departments in the School, namely Economics, with its strong reputation for development economics and international trade; and SPRU, the internationally recognised centre for policy related research and work on climate change and innovation.
We are recruiting full-time faculty at the level of Reader, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer in the areas of Management, Marketing, Accounting, Banking, Finance and Strategy; and at Reader / Senior Lectureship level in International Business; and at Lecturer level in Organisational Behaviour.
All successful candidates will be entrepreneurial academics who enjoy working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary, growth-oriented environment and show enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues. Applicants for appointments at reader levels will be internationally recognised research leaders and have a strong track record in teaching, administration, and raising research funds. Candidates for senior lectureships will have developed a substantial publication record and teaching portfolio as well as having demonstrated the ability to raise research funds and/or take on administrative roles. Applicants for lectureships will have some teaching experience and have demonstrated their potential as researchers through first publications.
