It is a newly refurbished Guest House in the heart of Brighton's lively Kemptown. The Griffin Guest House is just five minutes stroll to the Royal Pavilion as well as being close to the famous Brighton Pier. Dating from about 1780 the Griffin has recently been thoroughly renovated with nine rooms, each with its own en-suite whirlpool bath or shower.
Like many places in Brighton they have decided to have themed rooms, after much consideration they chose to theme their rooms as ... bedrooms!
Their three luxury rooms are all suitable as wedding suites and all have 'oblique' sea views and views of the Brighton Wheel - this means by sitting in the bay window you can see the sea and wheel at the bottom of their road. Many of their other rooms feature Kashmiri hand-sewn wall hanging rugs, some of these are based on the artist Miro's works, others are geometric and depict beautiful butterflies. All rooms have an LCD TV, DVD player and fridges. Wifi access is available free of charge for our guests throughout the guest house.
Brighton is a lively City throughout the year, especially during weekends. The area they live in, as in all parts of the city centre can be subject to street noise and of course, the very vocal seagulls.
