Campus wildlife
The campus has numerous ornamental ponds, plus larger wildlife ponds. The larger ponds are a good habitat for frog and newts, as well as providing water for the many species of birds and mammals. You are quite likely to see many herring gulls and occasional mallard ducks on the ornamental ponds in the centre of campus.
